Cross Hire have recently completed a bespoke temperature control project for a client in the north of Dublin. The project involved the design, assembly, supply, installation and commissioning of a system to provide cooling to the company production.
Our client is a leading supplier of precision injection moulded plastic components to a variety of industry sectors in Ireland and UK markets.
The large medical device manufacturer was struggling with the high temperatures recently. Without cooling their production would have to stop resulting in a huge cost.
Custom-Fit Solution
CH attended the site soon after the call was received and quickly completed a site survey assessing the requirement for cooling. It was agreed with the manufacturer that an extra 300 kW of cooling was required.
Cross hire delivered by HIAB a 300 kW chiller and 20 metres of flexible hose, the chiller was connected directly into the manufactures buffer tank. This tank is used as storage to cover peak loads, or in situations when a surge in demand exceeds the capacity of the cooling system.
The unit was commissioned by a Cross Hire engineer and the manufacturer now has ample cooling without interruption.
