The 1.2MW Container Boiler – 600kW Dual Burner is the ideal unit for large heating (LTHW), domestic hot water or combined requirement applications. It is a unit that brings together two 600kW boilers in one standard 20ft shipping container. It’s a fully-featured unit too, with a single controller to oversee all the equipment – including both boilers and the system pumps.

In addition, the 1.2MW Container Boiler – 600kW Dual Burner has a Boss Pressfill pressurisation unit and, for up to 1200kW of DHW duty, an external plate heat exchanger.

Run and Standby

The 1.2MW Container Boiler – 600kW Dual Burner provides a complete run and standby solution in the one unit. It houses two Ferroli Prextherm RSW600 boiler bodies, which are fired by dual burners inside the 20ft container. This lets the boiler offer 600kW of combined heating and DHW duty – with a standby unit on hand to take over if there is a fault with the main boiler body or burner.

For added resilience, the system pump is a twin-head inverter-driven unit. It means the pumps automatically switch over if there’s a fault with one of the pump units in addition to the boiler/burner backup. All this makes the 1.2MW Container Boiler – 600kW Dual Burner the perfect containerised boiler for critical applications if automatic switch-over to a standby system is a necessity.
